Prolyte goes to the beach -special location, special roof.
A new Prolyte stage roof has been installed just 15 meters from the shoreline of the Baltic Sea since end of March. The city "Ostseebad Kühlungsborn" invested in a modified Arc Roof for a series of events in this wonderful location.
Seawater-resistant concrete foundations were specially made for the roof and all attachments were made of highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel. After all, the stage roof will be in this place in the summer seasons for the next few years and will cover most of the stage area that is already there.
For project manager Uwe Oertel from "Stage Mobil Veranstaltungstechnik" based in Rostock, there were a number of specifications to be observed: In addition to the special installation site, there were special requests in terms of design, canopy colors, size and height of the roof.
The first meetings between customer, Licht Produktiv as the distributor of the roof and Prolyte took place at the beginning of 2021. “I'm really apriciated with the excellent support from Prolyte. Together we were able to fulfill all wishes and specifications and are happy with our customer about the stage roof", says Uwe Oertel.

"We modified one of our popular and proven standard roofs and were able to implement all requirements relatively easily. Whether it's the side canopies guided/installed in a keder profile, the special construction height of almost 6.5 meters or the dimensioning and connection of the foundations".
