Located on the grounds of Grind City Brewing Company, a custom 64’ x 40’ TOMCAT BFT roof system with PA wings is taking shape at the Grind City Amphitheater.

This system was engineered beyond TOMCAT’s standard roof configuration to meet the specific needs of the venue:
• Upgraded steel towers with diagonals on all four faces — eliminating the need for external guy wires

• Towers reaching approximately 50 ft, supporting a 40 ft trim height at the outer PA wings

• Roof structure built on TOMCAT’s XHD truss format, featuring 3” round main chords and a spigoted connection system for strength and efficient assembly

• Tower bases tied directly into concrete foundations for long-term structural stability

This is a strong example of adapting a proven system into a permanent, high-performance outdoor solution built for real-world conditions.

The project is still in progress, with wind walls and stage components currently in production, rounding out a complete venue infrastructure.
More to come as this one takes shape.
